Jean-Patrick Moisy
Jean-Patrick Moisy is a French violin maker born in Marseille in 1971. After graduating from the Newark School Of Violin Making, he did some work experience in various workshops before going to work for David Michie Violins in Philadelphia.
After some years working on and examining antique instruments, he decided to resume making violins.
In February 2007, in partnership with Joséphine, they opened their Bandon workshop. Since then, Jean-Patrick has been dedicated to making new violins, violas and cellos. To date, Jean-Patrick has sold instrument in Canada, France, Ireland and the UK.

Josephine Guedan
Joséphine Guédan is a French violin maker and restorer born in Charentes-Maritimes in 1977. She studied at the Newark School of violin Making.
Upon graduation in 1999, Joséphine went to work in Montréal, Québec, Canada at Wilder and Davis Luthiers for 4 years. During which time she worked on a wide variety of instruments ranging from the basic set up on students’ Suzukis, to big restoration jobs on expensive instruments belonging to well known musicians (members of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, The Harrington Quartet, I Musici of Montreal, etc.)
She then joined Jean-Patrick at David Michie Violins in Philadelphia. At David Michie Violins, she filled the position of head of the violin restoration department and worked on instruments for the members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, including the Concertmaster David Kim’s Bergonzi, the Co-Concertmaster William De Pasquale’s Peresson , a Grancino cello, and a Testore cello amongst others.
Since 2007, Joséphine has been restoring violins, violas and cellos for local musicians and international dealers alike from their workshop in Ireland.
